3. The First Hand The dealer's right-hand player starts by playing a card. Each player follows suit, with the winner of the hand being decided by the highest card played—either the highest trump or the highest card of the lead suit if no trump has been played.
4. Collecting Tricks The winner of each hand collects the cards played, placing them face down. Players draw a card from the draw pile after winning a hand, starting with the winner.
5. The Final Card When all cards have been played, the last card collected is the Briscola. This card is kept by the player who took the last trick.
6. Scoring At the end of the game, each player counts the points from the cards in their pile. Ace is worth 11 points, King 4 points, Queen 3 points, Jack 2 points, and 10 points are worth 10 points each. The lowest score wins the game!
